Stealing time

I'm stealing time
from the future
so I can do today
what I maybe
may be
wont be able to do
time ahead


I’ll steel hours from a clock
hours of justice
extra minutes
additions
and I'll discount them
later
when I no longer will be


I’ll steel my face
from the mirror
I turn my hair grey
draw wrinkles
so I'll recognize
old age
being young


I’ll steel time from time

and go along
on my way
without fear
of loosing
